Two village elders were among five people who were last evening shot at by unknown gangsters outside a shop in Mombasa’s Mwembe Tayari area. The fate of the two elders who sustained gunshot wounds now hangs in the balance. They were rushed to hospital after the incident. Eye-witnesses told KTN that the three gunmen who were riding on a motorcycle attacked the elders at around six. The motive for the attack is not yet known.
