Alfa petrol station in Kisumu have watched helplessly as their facility is damaged and more than two million shillings worth of fuel. An ownership tussle between a petrol station operator in Kisumu and the owner of the land on which the station stands has turned awry after a court issued an eviction order that precedes a hearing. As a result, owners of Alfa petrol station in Rabuor, Kisumu have watched helplessly as their facility is damaged and more than two million shillings worth of fuel that they left behind and are unable to access is sold off .The owner of the land who admits leasing the station to the operator says he had to evict Alfa’s operators because they were vandalizing the facility but refused to comment on why the court order came before a hearing between the two parties.
