Schooling for pastoralist children is often interrupted as the families migrate in search of pasture and water. This, alongside poverty has affected the education standards in pastoralist communities. Close to 10,000 students drop out of school annually in Isiolo county and Deputy president William Ruto is now asking stakeholders to table a report on this grave matter.
