Celebrations to mark the world international day for the elderly was marked in style in Nyeri town as the senior citizens were treated to music, dance and food. The event was organized by the purity elderly care foundation that looks after the needs of the aged people. The Dedan Kimathi Kamukunji grounds where the celebrations were held were awash with posters and banners that sought to remind everyone that that there was need to take care of the aged. The event was graced by popular musician Joseph Kamaru.
