Ndia Member of Parliament Stephen Ngare has this morning assured his constituents that he is safe after a man attempted to slash him yesterday. In the process Ngare’s bodyguard and a head-teacher of the school he was visiting at the time were seriously injured while attempting to protect the MP. The man was shot three times leading to his death on the spot. Ngare further clarified that the attack was not politically instigated.
