Siaya Senator James Orengo records statement at the CID headquarters

Siaya Senator and former land minister James Orengo has this morning appeared before CID officers at the CID headquarters for scrutiny in relation to the Lamu land saga. James Orengo who served as the lands minister between 2008 and 2013. Has heavily been accused by some Jubilee leaders for what they termed as unlawful allocation of the 500,000 acres Lamu land to 22 companies. Speaking to the Press Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama and his Bungoma counter part Bonny Khalwale said Orengo’s name has been cleared but the senator will give a comprehensive statement later.
