Senator Kipchumba Murkomen claims that Referendum Agenda in meant to slow down developments

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has claimed that a constitutional referendum will slow down national development. Murkomen says the money and energy that would go into a referendum would have national and county leaders abandoning their development strategies to focus on the plebiscite. The senator was attending a thanksgiving ceremony in west Pokot County.
