Poverty named as the leading reason for child traficking cases going unreported

Poverty and failure to report child trafficking cases are jeopardizing efforts to curb the vice. Speaking at a meeting with Cradle Kenya, an organization that addresses child trafficking cases, Mbita Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo and her Kibra counterpart Ken Okoth are appealing to the national government to put funds aside that will ensure children are protected countrywide.
