A traffic police officer sustained what doctors have described as internal injuries after being hit by a car at the accident-prone salgaa area. He manning his post on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway when the accident occurred.The officer calib natan is said to have stopped the speeding car for inspection but the driver allegedly ignored the orders to stop. Natan was rushed to the valley hospital in nakuru town where he is currently receiving treatment. The rongai ocpd joseph mwamburi said the driver has been arrested and his vehicle towed to salgaa police station for inspection and further investigations.
