Samburu Kenya could have an eternal end to ethnic clashes with new

After a long history of ethnic strife, the warring communities in Samburu county have agreed to come together under a peace agreement. The agreement was done during maendeleo ya wanawake election that was done in the county where women from different ethnic groups were elected to different posts, leaders asserted that the objective was to ensure that peace would prevail in the county so that residents could focus on development projects. Samburu county governor Moses Lenolkulal urged residents to keep to the spirit of the agreement and promised to support the women elected to various posts as they sought to carry out their mandates.
