The residents of transmara in narok county will be able to access free dipping services for their livestock. this is after the launch of a cattle dip in the county, one of the two constructed recently. To the maasai community which is dominant in the county, these projects are major boosts especially in curbing cattle diseases. the county government in conjunction with bimeda company assisted the community to construct the dip tanks. the cattle keepers in the community however expect that they will be able to dip more then 5000 cattle in a week.
