West Pokot women oppose the Bill that seeks to introduce contraceptives to children

A group of women in West Pokot have spoken against the proposed reproductive health bill that seeks to make it easier for children to access reproductive health services in hospitals. maendeleo ya wanawake west pokot county leaders have vowed to stage protests against the bill if passed by parliament. the newly elected chairperson for west pokot esther chepution said the organization will mobilize women in the area to condemn the bill which they claim is against good social values. the organization will be holding its county elections on july 8 with delegates from all the four sub counties in the region voting for their represantives.
