Court orders Inspector General of Police to arrest Mutie Iringo over contempt of Court

The High Court in nairobi has issued another arrest warrant against interior principal secretary mutea iringo. justice geroge odunga has ordered inspector general david kimaiyo to arrest mutea iringo for failing to appear in court. the ps had been called to appear in court to explain why the interior ministry has not paid a tanzanian trader who had been awarded 31.5 million shillings by the court. in june the court summoned iringo after the trader, james koroso complained that the ps was not honouring orders to appear in court.james koroso won the award against the interior ministry in 2008 as compensation for wrongful arrest and charges of robbery with violence. Koroso was acquited of the charges way back in 1995.
