Residents of tropical area near Chania River in Nyeri County are a worried lot. The residents of the area are living in fear as a perimeter wall surrounding their houses is in dire need of repair as it is leaning precariously on one side. The fears are rife that the neglected wall could collapse anytime especially during the ongoing rains and damage adjacent houses and possibly causing a catastrophe. Residents claim to have informed property owners but are yet to respond.
