Members of NGO executive council Comment on the controversial Uganda gay law

26th February, 2014

Members of the ngo executive council have called on their members to snub a meeting called tomorrow by a former official. They are accusing former ngo council chairperson Violet Okinda who was removed from office for allegations of mismanaging council affairs funds of instigating a coup inside the council. Commenting on the controversial Uganda gay law and whether it should be applied to Kenya, the council say the country’s laws on the right of association and privacy are very clear and should not be violated.
