Free cancer care centre launched in Nairobi

A free cancer care centre has been launched in Nairobi to provide space for physical activity and therapy for cancer patients and their caregivers. The Faraja care centre therapy studio has been facilitated with a 6 million shilling donation from the Safaricom Foundation to Ebale Thewm open their doors to the public at no cost. Speaking at the event the health cabinet secretary James Macharia urged the public, especially men, to go for cancer screening.
