Over 600 tourists arrive in Mombasa aboard a cruise ship from Zanzibar

20th January, 2014

Over 600 tourists from 18 western countries arrived this morning in the coastal tourism city of Mombasa. The tourists arrived aboard a cruise for a one day tour in Tsavo, Shimba hills and Mombasa. According to the Kenya ports authority, the docking the ship in Mombasa port is a sign of renewed trust on the safety and security of the port city that has suffered in the past over threats related to terrorism. The ship first docked in Mombasa on 26th December last year while it was enroute to South Africa, and it docked again on its way back to United Kingdom. From Mombasa it will be heading to the Seychelles
