Mohammed Abduba Dida's appointment revoked

The appointment of former presidential contender Mohammed Abduba Dida as the chairman of the constituency development fund has been revoked. Confusion reigns on Dida’s status as Cdf chair, while it is devolution cabinet secretary Anne Waiguru who has revoked his appointment as chair, the presidential appointment to the same position still stands, Dida was handed two appointments by the same government for the same position of Cdf chair for the same period of eight months Dida’s appointment has stirred public furore with Cord parliamentarians saying his appointment was unconstitutional and should be revoked. The Cdf act stipulates the chairperson to the fund ought to be nominated for parliamentary vetting before appointment, but Dida was handed a direct appointment. The deputy president has hinted there is confusion in government owing to misadvise by presidential advisors. The deputy president has nonetheless promised to have the confusion dealt with.
