Leopard kills 14 goats in Naivasha
20th December, 2013
A farmer in Naivasha is counting losses running into thousands of shillings after a stray leopard raided her home and killed eleven sheep. Over the last month, at least 100 livestock have been killed by wild animals and residents now want the Kenya wildlife service to find the rogue leopard or they will kill the animal themselves. Kenya wildlife service officials in Naivasha say that the closing of wildlife routes by human settlements has increased the number of attacks and incidences of human wildlife conflict.
