Police in Kapenguria have arrested a woman who allegedly kidnapped a ten year-old girl and molested her for three months. According to the girl, the woman lured her away from home and promised to take her to school in Zima area, Kapenguria. The woman however failed to fulfill her promise and assigned the girl tasks that kept her away from school. She is also reported to have to have beaten her several times, inflicting wounds. Neighbours rescued the girl and took her to the Kapenguria district hospital where she is undergoing treatment as she stays with a good Samaritan. The suspect is in police custody.
