A special committee comprising of members of the media owners association, media council and Kenya correspondents association have come up with recommendations on amendments to the media council bill which is at is second reading in parliament and the Kenya information and communications bill. However members of the special committee maintain that the Kenya information and communications bill is retrogressive and against the constitution.
