Telkom kenya staff demand their payments

15th November, 2013

Over nine hundred aggrieved Telkom kenya staff have been laid off without their terminal benefits. They now demand their payments after the company undertook its first phase of staff retrenchment in the year 2006. They staged demonstration at the company’s headquarter offices demanding an owing debt of over 3 billion shillings from telkom kenya. The workers gave the management seven days ultimatum to resolve the matter. They claim the case has been dragging in the corridors of justice without any fruitful resolution coming out of the appeal court.
