New insurance package set to provide compensation in the event of riots, strikes and terrorism.

In the wake of unexpected terror attacks in Kenya, Clarkson insurance brokers limited has introduced a terrorism insurance cover dubbed super motor that will offer a 0.25 percent rate. Clarkson Insurance Managing Director Milca Mugo said the new package is set to provide compensation in the unfortunate event of riots, strikes and terrorism. Insurance experts have warned that most insurance companies in Kenya do not cover incidents such as terror.
