The international finance corporation lends Ksh 39 9 billion to Kenya

The international finance corporation has invested 39.9 billion shillings in Kenya according to its 2013 fully year report. A huge chunk of the investments was in long term loan facilities mostly taken up by private companies. The expansion of IFC's activities in the local market has seen companies benefit from relatively easier access to long-term finance to fund their growth.
