41 die in grisly road accident in Narok

The death toll in the ntulele accident in narok has risen to 41. Traffic commandant samuel kimaru says at least 33 other passengers are receiving treatment for serious injuries. These are at narok and kijabe hospitals. The police say the 2am accident occurred when the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle before it veered off the road and plunged into a valley. The mangled wreck of the city to city bus with its roof completely detached from it and seats flattened, shows the magnitude of the tragic incident that saw 41 people perish. Eye witnesses say by the time they got to the scene all they could see were bodies piled on top of each other, some severely severed with personal effects and luggage scattered all over. The bus has been towed to the nearest police station.
