Ngong residents demand for compensation from a Chinese company

Hundreds of residents of karapon village in Ngong, took to the streets demanding for compensation from a chinese company just days after the companys quarry was closed by national environment manamement authoirity . The residents who complain to have suffered from activities of the quarry now want the management of the chinese company that resumed its operations yesterday to compensate them for health and structural damages . Owing to that the management of the china road and bridge construction company held a meeting with the residents and promised to minimize blasting activities . The management has also promised to compensate those affected including churches and schools
