KWS relocates rhinos

The Kenya Wildlife Service has launched a programme to reduce the number of rhinos in the Nakuru National Park and the Lewa Conservancy. The rhinos are being relocated to the Bornana National Park in Laikipia. The KWS says this will decongest the two national parks.the week long exercise plans to move 21 rhinos.at least 37 rhinos have so far been killed by poachers and the relocation exercise is aimed at averting or minimizing the poaching risk.
