Retired teachers from Nakuru demand their dues

The 1997 retired teachers group from Nakuru are appealing to the government to immediately release their funds following the delayed non-payment of their claims for the last 16 years. Led by their chairman joseph mwenja, the group said that their efforts to have their claims addressed have been frustrated by government officers regardless of court orders and directives to have their money released. They stated that their funds have now accumulated upto 42 billion shillings with an interest of 29 billion shillings.
