Kaimenyi dismisses critisism against education sector

The cabinet secretary for education professor Jacob Kaimenyi has dismissed criticism against the ongoing changes within the education system as baseless and born out of fear of change. Speaking while launching a report dubbed character and creativity initiative evaluation, Kaimenyi said that there are challenges always experienced at any level of implementation of a new program. The launch brought together Manu Chandaria the patron of global peace foundation, professor Leah Marangu chairperson character and creativity council and other notable academicians and stakeholders within the education sectors. The character and creativity evaluation and data analysis will be carried out by the Kenya institute of public policy and analysis and the findings of the study are a value addition towards improving quality of education in our academic institutions.
