26th July, 2013
The number of wildlife in the country has dropped by fifty per cent in the last ten years according to the Kenya wildlife conservancies association. Poaching has been blamed for the sharp decline of the wildlife with the association warning that the country’s tourism could be adversely affected by drastic fall in wildlife numbers. The association’s chief executive officer Dickson ole Kaelo said the elephants, rhinos and lion’s population is the most affected, recording sharp decrease.
