Kalonzo condoles Mwingi clash victims

Wiper democratic movement party leader kalonzo musyoka has warned of a scheme to muzzle devolution at its infant stage…kalonzo says kenyans should reject attempts to frustrate devolution in the wake of the national assembly’s motion to clip the powers of county governors…kalonzo asked governors not to waiver but stand firm to protect the devolved system of government. He was speaking at nyanyaa sub location in endau location, mwingi central district in kitui county where he visited families that were attacked by a gang that left 14 villagers dead two weeks ago. Saying that the country had 47 county governments and one national government, the wiper leader asked the cord governors, senators, mps, women representatives and county representatives to remain firm and focused to ensure devolution is strengthened. He said the county governments were distinct and independent.
