A motion of no confidence against the Kiambu county speaker Nick Githinji Ndicu failed to strip him off his role but left the county assembly in disarray after chaos erupted during the motion. Members of the county assembly accuse the speaker of high-handedness and protecting the interests of the governor William Kabogo. Deputy speaker Anthony Macharia who was on the seat during the motion blocked all attempts to impeach the speaker.
