A Briton pleads guilty for fraudulent charges

A 52 year old British investor who agreed to charges of attempting to obtain over |Ksh 39 million from us treasury is now awaiting his sentencing. Clifford Michelle Ronald or by other names Steve Tavenier agreed to three criminal charges against him and remorsefully asked the court to be lenient on him. Clifford is alleged to have forged an Italian passport in 2010 and also tried to obtain Ksh 39 million by attempting to deposit a cheque fraudulently obtained from the US treasury. Nairobi principal magistrate Peter Ndwiga reserved his sentencing to June 17th this year.
