Seven injured in Nyandarua attacks

Anxiety has gripped residents of nyandarua county after an unknown gang raided a village injuring seven people.the victims say members of the gang went from house to house and attacked them using crude weapons before escaping with their personal effects. Two of the victims have been admitted in critical but stable condition at j. M kariuki memorial hospital in olkalau while others are recuperating at home. Leaders in the county have expressed their concern over the attack that has paralyzed businesses in some centers and traumatized many families. Olkalau member of parliament david kiaraho and county governor daniel mwangi called on security officers countrywide to deal with the rising insecurity. The attack comes just one week after a series of attacks in bungoma which left at least ten people dead and scores injured.
