The Labor Court has this morning sentenced officials of the doctors union to a one month suspended sentence. Judge Hellen Wasilwa has ordered doctors to engage the government and end the strike in two weeks. Doctors pleaded for leniency saying that the union members needed them available for the talks. They were found guilty of contempt of court for failing to obey the order issued on the first of December ordering the suspension of the strike.
