Sifuna's Political Dilemma: What Next for the Linda Mwananchi Leader?

Nairobi Senator and Linda Mwananchi principal Edwin Sifuna finds himself at a political crossroads, with less than a year to the 2027 General Election and no party platform to drive his political ambitions.

Sifuna is also facing a tight timeline set by the IEBC and the Registrar of Political Parties, with political parties required to complete registration, changes, rebranding and submission of party officials’ lists ahead of the October 15 deadline.

With time running out, questions are mounting over Sifuna’s next political move and whether he will secure a party vehicle in time to advance his ambitions ahead of the 2027 polls.
