The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is facing a deepening internal crisis after the “linda mwananchi” faction declared it will not back down in severing ties with the group aligned to Oburu Oginga.
Godfrey Osotsi, the senator for Vihiga, says he will not challenge his removal as ODM deputy party leader, signaling a hardening stance within the faction.
At the same time, embattled secretary general Edwin Sifuna has maintained his defiance, insisting he will not serve under Oburu’s leadership.
