Motorists and commuters plying along Waiyaki Way were caught up in an early morning melee as Matatu's downed their tools in protest over what they termed as the inability to access their customers. They accuse the government of doing away with all their stages along the 30km stretch in the construction of the expressway without giving them alternatively. They want KeNHA to provide them with alternative stages and footbridges for their customers.
