Defiant OKA principals snub Uhuru, Raila's meeting in State House

One Kenya alliance principals yet again skipped a parliamentary group meeting convened by president Uhuru Kenyatta at the State House, Nairobi. Although ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula confirmed that they had turned down an invitation to attend the meeting, legislators affiliated to their parties were present at the meeting aimed at thanking legislators for passing crucial bills in parliament including the recent controversial political party’s amendment bill. And as our senior political affairs reporter Chris Thairu reports, senators present during the meeting that was also attended by ODM party leader Raila Odinga were persuaded to pass the bill which is now before them.
