Post 2022 Euphoria: Fear of wastage of public funds in the Bottom-up Vs Trickle down economic models

Deputy President William Ruto now says ODM leader Raila Odinga has joined the hustler narrative but is instead pushing for the trickle-down narrative of handouts by proposing to establish a social welfare state where the poor and vulnerable will be entitled to a monthly stipend of six thousand shillings.  And even as the two leaders wrestle about which economic model suits Kenya ? bottom-up or trickle-down ? economic analysts have warned that implementation of the programs could lead to increased taxation should the government fail to curb embezzlement and wastage of public funds.
