A family in Gatundu is seeking justice for their son who was allegedly killed by Nyumba Kumi officials after he was suspected to have stolen macadamia nuts from a neighbour’s farm. Elsewhere, in Ndhiwa in Homa Bay county, a court has ordered a mental assessment for a 23yearold woman who allegedly beheaded her one-year-old son on Saturday night for refusing to breastfeed.
