Staff and workers at the University of Nairobi have cautioned Education Cabinet Secretary, Professor George Magoha, against extending the term of the council that is coming to an end. University Academic Staff Union, (UASU), Kenya University Staff Union, (KUSU) and Kudheiha, claim the current UoN Council is responsible for the many issues facing the institution. The officials claimed the council presided over the worst regime in the history of the University of Nairobi hence it does not deserve another term.
