Senate establishes select 11 member committee to investigate impeachment of Wajir Governor

The senate has established an eleven member select committee to investigate the proposed removal from office, by way of impeachment, of Wajir county governor, Mohammed abdi mohamed.  The governor has been charged for gross violation of the constitution, misappropriation of resources, abuse of office and gross misconduct. Senate speaker Kenneth Lusaka urged the committee to move with speed and table a report of its findings and recommendations in ten days.
