French government donates 182,400 doses of Astrazeneca Covid-19 vaccine to Kenya

The government of France has donated 182,400 doses of the AstraZeneca?oxford Covid?19 vaccine to Kenya. The vaccines were donated through the covax facility and were transported by UNICEF into the country Thursday morning. The flight carrying the vaccine arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport at 7.45am. Senior government officials led by Dr. Willis Akhwale, the chairman of Covid vaccine deployment task-force in the ministry of health, French political counselor Emmanuel Dagron and UNICEF representative Maniza Zaman were at hand to receive the jabs at JKIA.
