Secondary school student attacks and seriously injures principal in Kericho over school fees row

Police in Kericho are pursuing a form three Ainamoi secondary school student who allegedly attacked and injured the school principal after hitting him on the head with a wooden stick that had a protruding four-inch nail. It is alleged the student committed the act after he was sent home to fetch an outstanding fee balance of 7000 shillings. Elsewhere three security guards at kivaywa high school in Kakamega county were hacked to death by armed robbers who invaded the school last night and stole electronics and 150,000 shillings in cash.
