Cracks emerge in Raila's Azimio la Umoja as allies hold parallel rallies in Nairobi

The race to the party primaries slated for April this year is proving to be a daunting task for major political camps. Today, two camps within the Azimio la Umoja in Nairobi held separate rallies, with accusations and counter-accusations; a clear sign of push and shove within Raila Odinga’s camp. While the Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi led team attended a church service in Githurai, gubernatorial hopeful and businessman Richard Ngatia settled for Ziwani grounds, where his event met a rather bumpy ride with disruption from rowdy youth. However, the leaders maintained they were strongly behind ODM leader Raila Odinga's presidential candidature.
