Ruto says he is better qualified to succeed Uhuru who will be leaving office at the end of his term

Deputy President William Ruto says he is better qualified to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta who will be leaving office at the end of his term in 2022. Ruto who was attending a homecoming ceremony for the Kiambaa Mp John Njuguna Wanjiku, said President Uhuru Kenyatta had taught him the art of hiking the mountain to the top, adding that he was the best candidate yet to replace the president. He made the remarks today as interior CS DR. Fred Matiang’i announced that some people had been arrested following the stoning of Ruto’s motorcade in Busia county.
