The murder of a 21-year-old mother of one allegedly by a British soldier in Nanyuki in 2012 is back in the limelight. British high commissioner to Kenya Jane Marriot in a statement says the UK is cooperating with investigators in order to find the truth. The statement follows an article by the UK’s Sunday times indicating that the soldier accused of the murder had confessed to fellow soldiers of murdering the woman whose body was found in a septic tank two months after she went missing.
