25-year-old girl leaving a mark in West Pokot county by pushing for the education of girl child

January 24th is the international day of education. Being the third commemoration since its inception. This year’s celebrations are happening within the unprecedented effect of covid19. However, in west Pokot county, there is a 25yearold girl whose efforts in fighting for the rights of girls to education have ensured that despite the threat posed by covid19, tens of girls remain in school and are safely continuing with their learning.
