BBI on the Menu: Pro BBI member on a retreat at Naivasha, MPs breaking down report content

1st November, 2020

A 2-day retreat for pro BBI members of parliament in Naivasha, could as well break the stalemate on the way forward in so far as the road to adoption and implementation of the report is concerned. The meeting that has brought together members of both the Senate and the National Assembly ostensibly to break down contents of the report, bit by bit, comes in the wake of concerns over the road to implementation, budgetary implications and the lack of proper legislations thereof. A standoff could be looming amongst proponents of the report if some contentious issues are not addressed.
